Ryarc has released v2.2.3 of their CampaignManager 2010 digital signage software suite. The English version is available now for download here and the French version will be out shortly.
Noted improvements include:
Support of .mkv video file format
CampaignManager, Dappler and Zusa are now supported on Windows 7 machines (both 32 and 64 bit)
CampaignManager can now run on Windows Server 2008
CampaignManager now supports external audio and audio fade for campaigns
We recently did an install at a new Bánh mì quick-serve on St-Denis in downtown Montreal called Vua. For those who may not be familiar with the Bánh mì, it is a type of Vietnamese sub that combines thinly sliced pickled carrots and daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, chili peppers, pâté, mayonnaise and various meat fillings or tofu on a baguette made with both wheat and rice flour (yum, tasty).
The installation includes a 5-screen digital menu board with some beautiful thin-bezel screens powered by a couple of our players controlled by our new MenuView content management system. MenuView is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that allows our customers to manage menus and product items via a web browser.
We also installed a couple other screens which capture digital cable and combine it in-restaurant promotional messages.

Ryarc, our Australian technology partner, has updated their CampaignManager 2010 digital signage software platform to version 2.2.2 and it now features Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT).
Intel® Active Management Technology is a new feature of Intel® Core™ vPro™ processors. One of Intel® AMT’s major benefits is that it allows out-of-band access—which means you can discover, trouble-shoot and recover assets even while PCs are powered off.
Four related management functions have been added to CampaignManager 2010:
AMT Discovery – Providing auto-discovery of Intel AMT presence.
AMT Asset Retrieval – Providing auto-retrieval of system asset information.
Remote Power Commands – Allowing you to send players remote power up/down and restart commands.
AMT Agent Scheduling – Remote scheduling of power up commands.
